Notes for Margaret Mary Arthur: Interview with Marge Osborne on 11/1/92
Marge remembers Christmas 1929. Grandfather Burns had a reddish face and was a rolly polly kind of man with gray hair. She remembers being in a playpen on Eager St on the 3rd floor. She remembers living on 38th street in a 2nd floor walkup. The 1934 Dodge that Pop had that we all remember was put into moth balls during the war. He took the tires off and set it on cinder blocks. Pop went to work in Washington. Came home at 7.00 or 7.30 PM at night.
In her first day of school Pauline Schenk/Clark took her to school. Bootsy Thalheimer and her sister Marguerite were with her. Both Pauline and Henry were adopted. Grandfather Schenk raised canaries.
Marge lives at 2825 Pinewood Ave, Baltimore, Md 21214. Works at Town and Country Travel in Towson, Md.
