Jerimiah Francis Ahern (b. 20 Dec 1869, d. 15 Aug 1893)

Jerimiah Francis Ahern (son of Patrick Joseph Ahern and Mary Ford)⁷ was born 20 Dec 1869 in Cork, Ireland, and died 15 Aug 1893 in Baltimore, Maryland. He married Mary Mae Welch on 06 Jun 1890, daughter of Patrick Welch and Mary Finnerty.

Notes for Jerimiah Francis Ahern:
Jerimiah was killed in a manhole at Centre and St Paul Sts in downtown Baltimore in 1893. He was 23 years old. Kids were orphaned at that point. He is buried in Thornton's grave in St Peter's cemetery.

Birth Cerrificate from St.Finbarr's Church in Cork, Ireland shows that Jeremiah was born on December 20, 1869 and was baptized on December 22nd.

Death Certificate from City of Baltimore show that Jerome Ahern died at Central and St. Paul Sts in Baltimore on August 15, 1893. Cause of death was due to "Poisoning by illuminating ? gas whilst in a man-hole fixing telephone wires. It was noted that he had lived in Baltimore for 15 years. He was buried in St. Peter's cemetery. Baltimore Sun has notice dated 8/16/1893.
