Obituary Baltimore Sun Jan 26, 1996 "Frank Michael Arthur, 82, Babe Ruth Museum Worker" Frank Michael Arthur, a retired insurance company employee and a volunteer at the Babe Ruth Museum, died Friday at University of Maryland Medical Center of complications resulting from a fall at the museum. He was 82 and lived in Parkville.
The Baltimore native, who was a graduate of Loyola High School, retired from Prudential Insurance Co., in 1978 after 35 years as an agent.
During World War ll, he served with the Army in Europe and was discharged as a technical sergeant. He was member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and the American Legion.
An avid sports fan, he began volunteering at the Babe Ruth Museum in 1980 and was weekend manager for 12 years. In 1991 Channel 13 presented him with a "Gold 13 Salute" for his work.
A Mass of Christian burial will be offered at 9:30 AM today at St. Dominic's Roman Catholic Church, 5302 Harford Road.
His wife, the former Josephine Adams, died in 1982. He is survived by a daughter, Mary Pat Tyler of Sparks.
