I am researching the Ashley family from England as well as the Fabbo family from Italy.
Robert Ashley first appears on record as a resident of Springfield, Massachusetts, January 13, 1638-39. I have not been able to trace him before that. He married the widow Mary Horton (Mary Eddy) about 1641, although there is much debate on the actual identy of Robert's wife. They had two daughters: Mary and Sarah, and three sons: David, Johathan, and Joseph.
I have been working on my family history for some time now. With a little luck, I found a book of the Ashley genealogy ending with my grandfather, going all the way back to my 9x great-grand father (Robert Ashley). This is from the Ashley Genealogy by Francis Bacon Trowbrige published in 1896. I am requesting documentation for the names enclosed, so please keep in mind that little of this has been proven.
Antonio Fabbo was born in Italy about 1860. He married Marie Anne LePore, also born in Italy about 1868. One or both of them came over about 1885. They were married about 1887. I have very little information on the Fabbo family line. I welcome any information and/or leads on the Fabbo family.
