I am researching the ASHLEY surname from Orange County NC. I am trying to locate the parents of Jeremiah ASHLEY who was born 25 Oct 1823. He first married a Morrah GATES and later was divorced. They had no children. He moved to Seebree KY and married Lucretia Caroline TEAGUE on 23 Jun 1861. They had 8 children. I am also seeking information on them.It is believed that the parents of Jeremiah ASHLEY are John ASHLEY and Catherine KING married on 31 Dec 1816.Anyone doing research on this family or having information, I would be most greatful for any enlightenment. |
