Ken Ashcroft ,of Lancashire, England

Have traced my Family back to c1797 Hugh Ashcroft in the Tarleton, Hesketh Bank, Fleetwood, areas of Lancashire, they moved to Liverpool c1900-1905, where they became a seafaring family, in the Merchant Navy. My Grand father John Ashcroft was torpedoed in the Bristol Channel, in the First World War, all hands were lost on the "SS.Braefield"
