The Gerrys and Dixons of Kittery, Maine

I am just starting out at this, not too sure of what I'm doing, but trying to help my father out. He has been researching his ancestors for several years now, but can only go back about to 1850 with Albert William Gerry who was married to Mary (or Marietta) Wheram (or Wherem) on the Gerry side, and Steven Dixon who was married to Annie Cole on the Dixon side.
