I am researching basically four surnames.1. Ashlock - The area around Jones and Linn County, Iowa where the family homestead is still being farmed.2. Williams - Looking for information on my grandfather, Newton E. Willams, born somewhere around Lawrence or Newton, Kansas. He also farmed in Jones or Linn County, Iowa.3. Waggy - My grandmother was born in Jones County, Iowa. Haven't had much luck with her surname. The spelling or the name may have been changed. 4. Wyckoff - I have quite a bit of information on this name dating back to the early 1600's.I look forward to sharing my information with anyone interested. |
