Ashe Family One-Name Study

For the last twenty years I have been researching the surname of Ashe. My aim is to link up as many Ashe families as possible. I have over 2,500 individuals in family trees and data on thousands more who have yet to be placed. This information is mainly on Ashes in the UK and Ireland but I have plenty worldwide. If you are an Ashe, or have Ashe ancestors, then I would be delighted to exchange information with you.

My own family originated in Cork, Southern Ireland, but we have lived in England for the last four generations. I have my own puzzle to solve in tracing what happened to my Great-Grandfather's two brothers, Alexander Cecil Ashe and Richard Henry Ashe. They were last heard of in Cork City around 1890 but have disappeared without trace. Did they emigrate and if so where to? If those names ring any bells in your family then please get in touch.
