The Ashmore/Robertsons of Texas/Scotland

I am attempting to learn more about the two branches of my family and share this information with my family. The Ashmores came from the Carolinas and ended up in Texas via Alabama. The Robertsons, Margaret Robertson and her children, left Stirling, Scotland in the 1880s and eventually lived in California.
I have gathered the enclosed information from oral history, review of information on-line and from a review of records while visiting Scotland. It is a work in progress and I doubt it is error-free. I welcome suggestions, criticisms, and added information. Please feel free to contact me.
