I am just starting my search for my family background on my fathers side. His name is Jack Donald Scales, and his mother was Ruby Davis, from Oklahoma. They were married sometime in the early or mid 20's, and my father Very little has turned up on my father's father, his name being Alpha Scales.They were married sometime in the early or mid 20's, and my father was born in 1927. Ruby died about 5 years ago, 1992 or 1993. Ruby and Alpha were married a short time, after which he either left or they got divorced. One way or the other, she did end up divorced from Alpha and the married a man named Archibald Verner probably about 1930 or 31. They were married a long time, I'm not sure how long, but Ruby married a 3rd time to a man named Les Carruth. That is about all there is to my story so far, but I am going to be doing extensive research on my family history, mainly on my fathers side.
