* Cyr, Kafton, Good & Limbach Descendants*

Updated September 6, 2000

Looking for Cyr relatives, especially from the Guillaume Cyr line. My Cyr line goes as follows: Pierre Sire(1644-1679), Guillaume Cyr(1679/80-c.1744), Louis-Joseph Cyr(1718-1753/54), Joseph Cyr(1740-1801), Joseph Cyr(1768-?), David Cyr(1790/1800-1870?), Zephyren/Zephirin Cyr (1832-1901), Frank Cyr(1857-1938), Minnie Cyr(1893-1981).
Anyone know of Michael Kafton? or any other Kafton? (Kaftan)? PLEASE contact me. I have very little information on this line and would love to hear from you. Michael Kafton was the son of George Kafton & Catharine Schwartz and born in either Russia or possibly Germany. Michael and his wife came to the US from Russia around 1892 and settled first of all in South Dakota. They later moved to North Dakota, then Marion, Kansas and finally in Lincoln, Nebraska, where Michael Kafton is buried. Michael's wife was Louise or Louisa and may have remarried after Michael's death in 1912, as I cannot find her burial in Nebraska. Michael & Louise's children include: Lizzie, Lottie, Louise Lucille(my grandmother), Michael, Albert, Lydia, Emma, Alexander, Freda?, Annette? If you have any information on any of these people please contact me.

Looking also for descendants of Joseph Good & Nancy Pollitt. I believe Joseph's father was Noah Good. They came from OHIO and settled in Marion, KS.

I'm also looking for LIMBACH's that settled in the Clifton, KS area. My mother's father was William (Bill) Limbach and his father was Philip Limbach.

Other people I'm looking for include: Obediah Benjamin Lewis &
Marion Spurrier.
