| We are researching our Wayne Ashley and Wilanna Midgett ancestry. The farthest we have been able to trace on the Ashley line is Cary Ashley born Feb. 27 1812 in England. Wayne is from Kentucky as was his father, William Dean A., son of Rufus Dean A., son of John Westley A., son of Cary Ashley. If you can connect with this line, please contact us and we will share what we have been able to collect thus far. On the Midgett line, Wilanna is from Texas, and we have traced back to Matthew Midgett who died in 1720. We have been told that this line has Jewish Portuguese origin and that it should be shown on some Jewish registry somewhere. Know anything about that? We have little knowledge of him or of our downline from him...Neal M. ...Natham M. ...nor Henry A. Midgett. From William Neeley Midgett on we have a little more information, but are always anxious to add to it. We are just starting and very anxious to get a quick start from some one! Connecting to these lines, we are also searching the Watson, Siemering, Schuetze, Teel, McConnell, Denton, Hill, Baker, Ripley, Hale, Nelson, Badgett, Mooreman, Myers, Bennett, and Stevens lines! Any help will be greatly appreciated! |
