I am searching for information about the Ashlock family whose origins are in virginia specifically the Williansburg,Toano,Newport News ,Hampton ,Va areas. It would be great to know the origins of this family and the surname Ashlock. I Do know that my Father's roots are in this area.I have also discovered that this surname goes from coast to coast and that there are approx. 200 families with this last name.This family name appears to be share between both white and African americans. I am African american but I am interested in any and all information about the name Ashlock. |
