Yona Friedland was the head of our family. He came to Israel with his 2 sons and their families on 08th October 1858. They first landed in Jaffa and than continued their way to Jerusalem where they settled. Parts of the family changed their names to Livay, Ben Ptachia and Man. Over the years members of the Fridland family moved to the USA (California & New Jersey) Argentina (Cordova)France Australia and New Zealand. My grand father (Avraham Livay) gathered the family records in a book which was published by my father Eliezer Livay) on 1960. I will be glad to receive any information about the Friedland, Livay, Ben Ptachia and Man families all over the world.
