* The Atha Family Tree*

Updated December 1, 2007

Initially I am accumulating all the details I can from all my living relatives of a certain age, on all lines of my family tree. Once I've done that I will be concentrating on the ATHA, QUINLAN, CROWTHER and MORTON lines, one at a time, until I get as far as I can.

I know I had a great uncle called Billy Quinlan who emigrated to New Jersey, USA from Leeds, England and had at least one child (also called Billy Quinlan). I know he emigrated before the late 1960's as my parents, my brother and I visited them in or around 1968.

I also had a great uncle Hedley Morton who was a policeman in York before emigrating to Australia to become a sugar farmer (or so the collective memories of more recent family members relate). At least one of his descendants, John Morton was last heard of living in or near Maryborough, QLD.

Any information, about these people or any other aspect of my tree, would be appreciated. I am also willing to share the information that I have.
