1774 - April 4, Augusta District GA: Receives grant of 200 acres from Sir James Wright on Great Kiokee Creek by Savannah River.

1788 - October 20, Greene Co GA: Deed signed, recorded February 27, 1800. William Kilgore Sr. and wife Sarah, of Greene County, to Jeremiah Lamkin for 200 lbs. sell 290 acres, bounded on south by Great Kiokee Creek. Northeast by Savannah River. Granted to said Kilgore by Sir James Wright April 4, 1774.

Undated - Augusta District GA: William Kilgore-200 acres, approved.
He has a wife and 7 children. Land is on the mouth of the Kiokas.

1790 - December 8, Georgia: Last will of William Kilgore: Last Will & Testament of William Killgore, weak in body. to beloved son William Killgore all my estate real & personal except what is hereafter mentioned. To my daughter Ann Clay two cows & calves. To my daughter Sary Killgore a sorrell colt. To my daughter Hannah Maxwell(?) five sh. sterling. To daughter Elizabeth Meola(?), sons John & Robert Killgore 5 sh. sterling.

1798 - February 16, Georgia: William Thompson to John Lamkin, for $500 a tract of 150 acres on Big Kiokee Creek, bounded on east by Kilgore's Old Place, part of a tract granted to George Lambecker in 1769. Also part of a tract granted to Levi Sheftall in 1769.
