WILL OF ROBERT FRANK
Written 17 Nov 1725; Proved: 22 Feb 1726; Recorded 9 Mar 1726
The last will and testament of Robert Frank, being in perfect sence and memory though weak in body, but blessed be God in
perfect Sense as followeth:
IMPRISE: I bequeath my soul to God in Jesus Christ who was my Creator and Redeemer in whom I trust to be my Creator
to save me again at the last day in Glory. I also bequeath my body to the earth from whence it has its being to be
orderly and
decently buried and my worldly goods as followeth:
IMPRISE: I give unto my granddaughter Margaret Spilman a certain parcel of land lying on the Eastern side of the Meadow
Branch commonly known by the name of Whitins during her lifetime and after her decease to return to my grandson
Robert Frank and if
my grandson should die without heir lawfully begotten of his own body that to return to my grandson William Plunkett.
ITEM: I give unto my grandson John Grinning a certain parcel of land lying between the church path and ye Meadow
Branch to him and his heirs forever.
IMPRISE: I give unto my grandson Robot Frank my plantation and all the land belong thereto and to inherit the said land at
ye age of one and twenty, to be his or his heirs forever, the said land to be in the possession of John Plunkett til such
time
as he come of age.
JMPRISE: And if he should die without heirs the said land to return to William Plunkett and his heirs. I give to my
granddaughter Margret Spilman one cow and calf.
IMPRJSE: I give unto my grandson William Plunkett a bed and furniture which I commonly lie on.
IMPRISE: I give unto my granddaughter Elizabeth Knighton my next best bed and furniture.
IMPRISE: I give unto my two grandsons Thomas Grinning and John Grinning all my wearing clothes after my decease to be
equally divided between them.
IMPRISE: I give unto my grandson Thomas Frank my horse, bridle and saddle, and all the rest of my personal estate I give
to my friend John Plunkett, aim I make my loving friend John Plunkett my whole and sole executor of this but will
and testament
as witness whereof I hereto set my hand and fixt my seal this 17th of November 1725.
