!CENSUS: 1910; Comanche Co., TX (with siblings, Harry, Bill, & Emma)

Aunt Grace (Essary) Atkinson told me that she and Carrie Atkinson (Bill's
wife, delivered one of Jonathan's wife's babies (This must have been during her
first marriage.)
My mother told me that when her family lived on the old Beatty place (she
was about four yrs. old) that Uncle John and Aunt Maggie & children came to
visit them. She said Ontee was the only girl of Uncle John's she ever heard
the family speak of. She didn't know if Ontee was a nickname or her real name.
John married when he was older to a widow with one or more children. I believe
my grandmother Gardner told me this.
There is a photo of John's family where the parents are sitting - an older girl
about 15 or 16 yrs. old is standing in back and a younger girl about 9 yrs. old
is standing (left) and a boy of about 7 yrs. is standing between the parents.
