I went to Mt. Moriah on Highway 19 about 12 miles SE of Prescott in Nevada County Arkansas. The only thing left of the Mt. Moriah settlement seems to be one house, and a church with cemetery, both located on the west side of the highway, about 3 miles north of the junction with RTE 4. In 1850 this was part of Hempstead County. Nevada County was formed in 1870.
Approaching the church, there is a large oak tree on its right. Directly in line with it, and to the north within the cemetery boundary, are five Munn graves lined up in a row. I photographed them. The inscriptions are as follows left to right:
