| We are searching the surnames of Aubrey-Awbrey and Washer. We know that most of Aubrey-Awbrey family originally came from Wales. As far as the Washer family, very little is known except that they lived around New England and Nova Scotia. We are also very interested in the family religious history of these two families. The Aubrey-Awbrey family history is filled with nobility and knighthood and we are searching for more details. We have traced this family back to Rhys ap Tewdr, Prince of South Wales(1070)and how from this man our family was connected to the De Carew family, De Clare's and others but are lacking exactly how it all fits together. We also know that the Awbrey line goes back to Viking heritage but more information is needed to piece it altogether. Any information would be helpful and we will also share what information we have as well. |
