| I started this project in the 80s not knowing the name of my Aucoin Great Grand Father. Since then I have learned a lot about my heritage. My family came from France and settled in Acadia. They were exciled from Acadia by the British in 1755 and shipped back to France. They crossed the ocean a second time in 1785 to settle on a Spanish Land Grant in Louisiana.I will be willing to share any infomation I have. |
