| I have been working on my family history for several years now. At this time I'm at a stand still. I am looking for information on my great-great-grandparents who were Christian Auchter and Louisa Schweiger. They came to New York City between 1850 and 1860. I know that he was a Union soldier and died in Petersburg, VA on 14Feb1864. She remarried and moved to the area of Croghan, NY with her new husband, Peter Kaihe. This is where most of my family continues to live. Any information would be appreciate. |
