The AURDALs From Norway - I have extensive family tree information dating back pre-1750 The DAYs from Virginia - My mother was Lula Belle Day, daughter of Shade and Mary Jane (Watson) Day. I have extensive information about the Day family; Shade's mother, Emmarinthia White and James Day, Sr.; also their ancestors. WATSON: I am looking for Watson relatives; my grandmother, Mary Jane Watson, dau of John and Mary (White) Watson; 8 children in family: John, Rosetta; George; Rebecca; Susie; Richard; Mary Jane, b May 5, 1867; and Charles. Mary Jane died of Rockey Mountain spotted fever in 1913 and is buried in Idaho. SCHMIDT, RITTER, MEYER, KORFFMANN: My father's name was William Schmidt; he was born in Beserabia, a German community in Russian, near the Black Sea. I'm not sure what the true surname was because I have conflicting information, but their name was changed legally to Schmidt after immigrating to Canada, sometime during the early 1900's; Dad's b'date 12/12/1898; his brothers and sisters are Jack, August, Lydia, Eva, Phyllis. Eva and Phyllis were twins. My father died in the Alaska earthquake in 1964. Jack lived in Chicago for many years; August and wife Mildred lived in Spokane, Washington; Eva Cooper lived in Calgary, Alberta when my grandmother, Carolina Johanna Schmidt, died in 1967; Lydia was married to Pat Oakes, prior marriage to a Schnell with one son, Calvin, who lives in Edmonds, Washington. |
