30 Apr 1835 - Applied for pension, from Putnam County, Ohio court for service during the Revolutionary War as an Indian spy with the Virginia Militia. He served as a First Sargeant in Captain Alexander Maxwell;s company of Indian spies. He was denied his pension. (National Archives, Washington, D.C.)
