A Simplified Table of Descent of Aveling's. To show the connections of present families of that name now living in Australia. 1. George Smith Aveling arrived in Melbourne on the 4th January 1854 aboard the South Carolina. 2. Robert Aveling arrived in South Australia 13th July 1850 (SAILOR) aboard the Boyne. 3. Stephen Aveling arrived in West Australia 30th October 1851 aboard the Marian. 4. Alfred Aveling arrived in Melbourne 2nd February 1854 aboard the Marco Polo. 5. Anthony Robin Aveling Arrived in Australia in 1963. He is the great great grandson of Rev.Thomas William Baxter Aveling. ( All of the above have living descendants except Alfred Aveling.)
