Reverend Thomas William Baxter Aveling (b. 11 May 1815, d. 3 July 1884)
Thomas William Baxter Aveling (son of William Aveling and Bridget Meehan) was born 11 May 1815 in Castletown, Isle of Man, and died 3 July 1884 in Croydon, Norfolk. He married (1) Mary Ann Goodall on 1839 in Wisbech. He married (2) Agnes Sarah Joselyne on 1878 in Reg. Hackney.

He was brought up in Wisbech, became a reporter, then a Congregationalist minister. A celebrated preacher and writer and Chairman of the Congregation Union.
!SOURCE: AJ Aveling. His wife Mary Ann Goodall died of apoplexy in August 1877 and was buried at Abney Park Cemetery aged 61. She was a daughter of Thomas Goodall, a farmer and inkeeper of Wisbech,Cambridgeshire. Thomas married the following year to Agnes Sarah Joselyne ,he was 63 years old, Agnes was 36.
