Charles Tipping Aveling (b. 4 November 1771, d. 1808)
Charles Tipping Aveling (son of William Aveling and Elizabeth Tipping) was born 4 November 1771 in Aspley Guise, Bedford, and died 1808 in At Sea, Off Copenhagen. He married (1) Margaret Butler on 18 March 1792. He married (2) Martha Atkinson on 15 January 1804 in St.Nicholas, Newcastle U Tyne, Northumberland, England.

Gazetted to Deputy Purveyor of the forces in (1803 on 13th October) Newcastle-on-Tyne, and later in Copenhagen in Denmark. Married on 18th March, 1792 to Margaret BUTLER in London. She died in 1795 ..d.s.p..He wed secondly Martha ???. He drowned at sea, 1808 on his way home from Copenhagen. Source - Tanqueray family record.
