Welcome the the Doyle clan of Syracuse NY. We've been research our relatives for quite some time now. We have gone back to 1849 when James Doyle and Bridget Sullivan both from Ireland were married and had 3 sons: Michael F. James A. and John F.
John F. Doyle married Catherine Thoendle and had 2 children Ellen and Mary.
Michael F. born in 1850 married Ellen Cahill born in 1854 in 1870. They had 6 children: Elizabeth, Michael F., William J., Helen, James E. and David. William Joseph born in 1874 died 1954 Syracuse, NY married Dorothy Ann Eppler in 1905. Both resided in Syracuse NY.
They had 5 children: Dorothy, Bernice, William E., Molly and Mary. William E. (my father) born 1910 married Helen McCaffrey in Syracuse NYin 1931. They resided in Syracuse til their passing in 1982.
