Surnames that we are currently searching for are: Ayscue; Hurdle; Chappell; Bagley; Twine; and Finch. All of these are thought to be from the North Carolina area. We are also looking for anything on a Sir George Ayscue that is mentioned in history books around 1851 as a commander of a fleet that sailed to Barbados from England.We only have back a few generations so any information would be greatly appreciated. Most of these families are from the Hertford and New Bern areas of NC. We are also searching the Wiggins and Morgan family. The Wiggins have also been traced to NC and the Morgan's are from Oklahoma.
