The Ackerman-Bachand Family History Page

The Ackerman side involves the following families: LaJoie, Fouche and the following states: MA, Neb, and the providence of P.E.I.. I am still trying to locate Jonas P. Ackerman(b.3/29/1890) which is my father's father. Jonas's father was George H. Ackerman and mother was the former Emma McDuffie of Brockton, MA. I was able to trace Jonas to Omaha, NE were he registered for WWI and have come to a dead end. Jonas sister Edna Arlene married Eldon Sherman Clapp and had 3 children: Fred, George, Hazel. She died in Brockton. I have not been able to located George H. Ackerman parents either.
The Ackerman side also includes: Wanex, Wielgosz, Koski, Jacobs,and Savage. The Wielgosz and Wanex families originated in Poland.

The Bachand family side involves the Brinnon, Arbor, Cook from MI, AZ, OR, many Canadian Providences and England were Lily M. Cook(b:7/11/1893) came from.
