I am researching the Braley family. I have the Braley Geneology book (hardback) that begins with the family history in the 1600's.I am also looking for Newton history.Backert is my married name and am also interested in any information relating to Backert, Huckaby, Wonacott.My paternal grandfather was Gilbert Wesley Braley Sr, Paternal Grandmother Edna W Sturtevant. Both born in New Hampshire. My father Gilbert Wesley Braley Jr was the youngest child.We lived on New Hampton Road in Franklin.

My maternal Grandfather was Lee Newton,Grandmother was Mildred Meek. They lived in East Andover New Hampshire.My mother was Marjorie. My siblings are James and Cindy.Other names in this line are Stevens ( from Hill or New Chester prior 1800) Johnson and Colby (Bow NH) Have Colby to 1630. Williams/Melville New Jersey 1850+

  Home of Gilbert and Edna Braley from late 1930's. Ownership went to their youngest son Gilbert. He and his wife Marjorie and their children Carol and James resided until Aug 13, 1963. Farm was of 40 acres and was a chicken farm from 1950's - 1962
