Bachelor/Batchelor/Batchler/Bachlor; VA 1661>NC>TN>MO>TX>OK
I am specifically seeking proof that William and Mary Bachelor who arrived in VA Dec. 21, 1648, were (or were not)the parents of Richard who arrived in August 1661 at age 16. Also about family in England. Also seeking information concerning the death of James S. Bachelor, Franklin Co., MO, circa 1862.

Berry; VA>KY>MO>AR>TX>OK>
Looking for relationship between Richard Berry, b. c. 1738, Rappahannock Co., VA, and Richard Berry, deported to MD from Buckinghamshire, England, in 1648 for being a Quaker (together with William Bachelor above). Also need proof that the Samuel H. and Eliza Berry burried in Sherman, TX is the Samuel H. Berry of Callaway Co., MO.

Bird; VA>TN>MO>TX>OK
Looking for ancestors of Jacob Bird, b. abt 1765 (VA?), d. after 1830 in Sevier Co., TN. Also seeking circumstances of death of Samuel Bird and wife Hannah Lawson abt. 1864 in Franklin Co., MO.
McCain: LA>TX>OK
Need proof that (John?)Bennett McCain, b. abt. 1833, was the son of Edward McCain and Nancy Bennett of Washington Parish. Siblings are believed to have been James B., Edward,Jr., and Mary M. Also seek information about Bennetts death circa 1862. James B. and Edward were said to have been in battle of Port Hudson where the former was killed and the latter badly wounded. James, Bennett, and Mary were in Caddo Parish on/before 1850.
Bennett married June Peters and children were William Edward (my grandfather), John (Bennett?), and Mary Owen. June remarried a Merriam Lovin in 1863 and they had a son, Oscar, and moved to TX.
