| Welcome to our family homepage. We have combined our homepage into one, so we invite those from both sides to have a look. The family tree now contains over 1,000 individuals. We are still working on tracing the Hays side (we have currently traced it as far as John Hays of Alabama). On the Baca side we have succeeded we have traced our family back to the early 1400's in Spain and are currently trying to take it back to the 1200's. And by the way don't forget to check out the Royal Lineage. We have confirmed the connection to the Spanish Aristocracy to Ferdinand II and also several others. Also we are going to publish the Baca family tree through the Genealogical Society. So all of you who haven't gotten your group sheets, stories and pictures in please hurry! Keep looking for updates and we will keep you posted of our progress. To the Hays family we are looking forward to seeing everyone at the reunion and hope that we can share the information that we have found. To the Baca family we are trying to plan a family reunion and would appreciate any help you can provide. We need to start by finding a central location. Since we are scattered from Illinois to California. Maybe we should plan for New Mexico, since that is where it started. Any suggestions? We want it to be convenient for all.
