| I am doing research on my maiden name. I am looking for information on LEVICK'S from Illinois, Kansas, & Oklahoma during the 1800's & 1900's). My great-grandfather was FRED LEVICK and he married MARY HANNAH JENKINS(daughter of FRANK & ELIZABETH JENKINS). Their children were Ralph, Albert, Marie, Bert, and JW. Quite a few of the Levick's moved to Washington State in the late 1920's and early 1930's. Fred's parents were HENRY HARRY LEVICK & ELIZABETH CAROLINE WEARE. Henry's parents were ALFRED LEVICK & ESTHER WRIGHT. Alfred left Esther For his second wife Mary Jane Clark. When Alfred was ready to come to America he had his brother kidnap his son Henry Harry who was still living with Esther and bring him to Liverpool, where Alfred and Mary were living. When Alfred came over from England he settled in Scott County, Illinois. He later moved to Seneca, Nemaha Co, KS. Another line I am researching is my JENKINS line. MARY HANNAH JENKINS was my great grandmother. She married FREDERICK WILLIAM LEVICK. MARY's parents were FRANKLIN JENKINS born in New York about 1830 and ELIZABETH (last unknown) born in England about 1845. FRANK JENKIN's parents were CHARLES JENKINS, born about 1804 in New York and ALMIRA "ALMA" Edgerton born about 1809 in New York. CHARLES & ALMIRA had 7 children: FRANKLIN, THADDEUS, GEORGE RANDALL, THEODORE, CHARLES JEROME, MARGARET "MARIETTA", & WILLIAM. The first 4 were born in New York, the other 3 were born in Illinois. Almira was the daughter of Isaac and Sarah Edgerton. Charles and Almira moved their family to Westmoreland, Pottawatomie County, Kansas in 1855. I am also researching the McFaddens from Oklahoma, Kansas(late 1800's), Indiana(in the early 1800's to late 1800's) and Kentucky & Virginia(in the 1700's). Some of the surnames that Mcfadden's married into are: BOATRIGHT, CLARK, REID, TOBIAS, LINDLEY, SCHUMAKER, DESMOND, LACEY, COMFORT, LOPER, McCLAIN, ROBERTS, MORLEY, and BELLEW. My great-grandfather was WILLIAM HARVEY MCFADDEN and he married ETHEL IDA LOPER. They had 13 children: LEWIS CLIFFORD, FRANK I., ARTHUR WILLIAM, MELVIN LEROY, EMMETT ALFRED, BETTY RUTH, VENA MAY, BIRDIE FRANKLYN, FLOSSIE LEOLA, EDNA BEATRICE, LOYD, HAZEL, and MAXINE. My Great-grandmother was ETHEL IDA LOPER. She married WILLIAM HARVEY MCFADDEN. Her parents were WILLIAM HENRY LOPER & ELIZA ANNA ARNOLD. William was born April 08, 1840 in Burlington County, New Jersey. Eliza was William's 2nd wife. She was born February 02, 1855 in Cole County, Illinois. William & Eliza had 3 children: ETHEL IDA, Unknown child, and WILLIAM ORA. William's first wife was ANN ELIZABETH KING. She was born July 15, 1841 in New Jersey and died November 02, 1876 in South Charleston, Clark County, Ohio. Their Children were: ANNA R., LEWIS KING,CHARLES, ELIZABETH, MARGARET, & SARAH E. I am also looking for information about THOMAS JAMES BOATRIGHT & MICKLEBURY BOATRIGHT. I have found conflicting info on Micklebury. I would be interested in seeing some solid proof on who Micklebury married along with his children. Thomas James fought in the Civil War for the Union. He was from WV and was married to Alcy Peck. They had at least 2 children: William E. (1850-1870) and Martha Jane (1853-1936). Martha married TREVANION McFADDEN 1870 in Clay Co. KS. I am an Colville Indian from Washington State. I would like some info on JOHNNY BAKER and family in the 1800's. JOHNNY BAKER from Cashmere, WA. He was an Wenatchi Indian and a medicine man. JOHNNY'S wife was called LITTLE MARY. Her mother was BIG MARY. They were Wenatchi Indians. Johnny and Mary had a daughter MARY ANN(My grandmother) who married FRANCIS ABRAHAM. Francis's parents were JOHNNY ABRAHAM & MARY ANN WAPATO. MARY ANN WAPATO'S parents were JOHN & MADELINE WAPATO. They all lived in Manson, WA in the Lake Chelan area. Any information would be greatly appreciated. |
