I am researching the Bacon family and have the family traced back to the birth of one Pheneas or Phineas Bacon born 4 November 1795, I believe in Connecticut, and married to Sarah Paddock, born February 15, 1801. They were married on 9 June 1823. They built a house in Middletown Connecticut which stands today. They had eight children: Seth Bacon
