| Speorl Family tree.Searching for this surname also the family name of Figgs -Huttner-and the civil war involving the Pennsylvania 5th calvery co.A.The Speorls originally came from Germany in the early 1800.The surname "Speorl" was changed over the years .The German way is "Spoerl".Our Gr/Grandfather Henry C Speorl changed the way it is spelled.He was in The Navy,and served on the U.S.S. Contitution and the U.S.S. Saratoga.Most of our family lived in Pennsylvania for the periods of 1800.Then moved to Maryland aropund 1860.They were farmers.blacksmiths,and carpenters.we are still researching alot of history .So if anyone has any information on the Speorls please contact me. |
