PAUL & BACH FAMILY HOME PAGE

I am researching both sides of my family. The "PAUL" side of the family has its roots in Slovenia. The "BACH" side of the family is from Prussia. Both sides immigrated to the US. Ironically, it just so happens that my name is Paul Bach, a blend of both sides of the family.

Perhaps as in many 1st generation immigrant families, the 1st generation children did not hear much from their parents about their parents' homelands for one reason or another. This is the case in my family.

The Bach side of the family still has an annual FAMILY REUNION that meets in Pittsfield, Ohio at a city park. In its earlier years, the reunion would meet at the country home of my Aunt Margaret (Bach) Brady. My Aunt Bea (Bach) Hovinetz, the family archivist, has done much to keep the reunion alive and functioning.
