I started the research in 1978, but really didn't get passion to do it until 2000. I wasted the years in between when I could have captured more data. Roots can be important. I'd encourage anyone to write down their thoughts, ideas for future generations.
I had a great life. I was born at my parents house in East Clarendon, Vt in 1950. We lived on a part-time farm. My father worked on the Rutland Railroad [now out of business], during the day, and at nights, and mornings worked on the farm. We did not have any money, but we did a lot of interesting things. We seemed to be the first folks in the neighborhood with a color TV. Was that ever great. But there were only a few shows a week in color. My earilies memories were of watching the opening of Disneyland, and watching the weekly "Wonderful World of Disney" on TV. I kinda got my life's direction with 'when you wish upon a star' and if you can dream it, you can do it. I never expected anything less if I set out to do it.
