He lived with his aunt Jennie (Bagby) Obryan in Huntsville so he could attend High School. Their he received his Teaching certificate. He attended grade school at Carter Schoolhouse in the Walnut grove area. Married & with three children, He was working as a farm hand around Armstrong MO. In 1942 he came to K.C.MO. Went to work for Sears Roebucks & Co. Where he worked as a shipping clerk. He died while at work in 1966. He was living in Oak Grove MO.
