Cora Lee Underwood (daughter of Hugh Underwood and Julie Ann Wells) was born 1869 in Walker, Vernon CO., and died 1952 in Fayette MO. She married David Bagby, Sr. on September 03, 1893, son of John Ward Bagby and Elizabeth F. Terrill.

In MDM 1-25-1882. Their is an article that a J.B.Wyatt age27 from Jacksonville Ill. m/dec-1881to the widow E.C. Underwood. He sold their property & left her & 3 children in Moberly, MO.
*note; I don't know if this is a connection to Cora or not.
After David died on Dec 9th of 1924 . The Govenor of MO (Frederick Bates 1924/25) Or it was Abraham J. Williams 25/26, appointed Cora (Underwood) Bagby to finish the term as probate Judge of Fayette MO. Howard CO. I do not know if Cora ran for re election or stayed in politics. She might have been a school teacher in her youth.
