William George Sielbeck, son of Christian and Mary Johnson Sielbeck was born September 20, 1886.He passed away at his home November 3, 1953 at the ath age of 67 years, 1 month, and 14 days.He was baptized in infancy on October 31, 1886.He was bonfirmed in Zion Evangelical and Reformed Church, later transfering to St. Paul's Lutheran Church where he was a staunch and faithful member remaining in communion with his Lord until death.He was married Miss Nora Krueger April 29, 1914.To this unio was born one daughter, Aline.He leaves to mourn his passing his beloved wife;his daugher, Mrs. Aline Schmidt; son-in-law, Fred Shcmidt;three grandchildren, Christine, Frederick and Charlotte;five brothers Henry, Chris, Harmon, Firtz and louie Sielbeck;one sister, Mrs. Mary Kruger;all of Massac County; and a host of relatives and friends.Preceding him in death are his father and mother, a step-mother, three sisters and two brothers.He has resided in Massac County as a farmer his entire life.He was loved by all who knew him and will be sadly missed.
A Chair is vacan in our home,
A voice we loved is stilled,
A place is vacant in out hear
That never can be filled.
