| I am researching JAMES W. HARRIS, b. 1837, Mississippi.Wife - JENNIE E. MULLINS or AILES, b. 1846, MS.JAMES W. HARRIS was a Confederate Soldier living aroundJackson, MS, Hinds Co. before the Civil War.Rumor was that JAMES and JENNIE E. married and moved to East Texas, Rusk Co., in or around the 1860's. Leaving all family behind them for JAMES to join the Confederacy and get married.All parents were from Georgia, except JENNIE's mother who was from Mississippi. JENNIE had a sister named DOLLIE MULLINSor AILESLocated JAMES and JENNIE HARRIS on the 1900 Rusk Co., TX Census.They were also buried in Shiloh Cemetary in Rusk Co. TX in theearly 1900's. Lived in Minden, TX. for many years and had a largefamily together.SURNAMES include:HARRIS, MULLINS or AILES,McNAIR and KINDRED.
