The Last will and Testament of Clement found in the Borthwick Institute of the University of York. It would appear that his wife was dead at the time of the writing of the will as no mention is made of her.

"Clement Cornynge Sr. (Father of Clement and great-great grandfather of Samuell) was born circa 1490 and died 1548. Clement Sr's will has also been found. It would appear that his wife was dead at the time of writing of the will as no mention is made of her. Clement and his wife had Agnes, Alice, Clement, Gregorie, Margaret and John.
