David Dole (son of Richard S. Dole and Miriam) was born Aug 06, 1776 in Rowley, Essex Co., MA^{110, 111, 112}, and died Jun 01, 1858 in Claremont, Sullivan Co., NH or Wilton, Hillsborough Co., NH (Cemetery Records)¹¹³. He married Annis Rideout on Dec 08, 1807 in Washington, Sullivan Co., NH, daughter of Benjamin Thompson Rideout and Annis (Ann) Blanchard.

Notes for David Dole:
Came to Washington NH in 1803 and purchased a farm of Jeremiah Bacon in the eastern part of the town where most of the active part of his life was spent and where all of his children were born. Although the farm has been deserted and itsbuildings demolished, it is still well-known as the "Dole Place", especially to fisherman who frequented the brook which runs nearby in quest of trout which abound there.His headstone reads Age 81 y. 9 m. 24 d.
