The family will receive friends Wednesday 3-5 And 7-9 P. M. at The Flynn-Froelk Co. Funeral Home, 1904 Euclid Ave. Grave side services will be conducted Thursday Nov. 3, at 11:30 a. m., at Calvary Cemetery.
On another note: By 1930, There was a "roomer" according to the 1930 Census by the name of Norma Nippert aka "Nip". She was despised by the children living at home. There was a feeling that Nip "controlled" Sarah and kept her incapacitated (via alcohol) so that she in turn could "control" the house as well. There were letters about rescuing Sarah and moving her to California which was done by at least 1937. According to the 1920 Census, Nip was a nurse. In 1930, she was a nurse AND worked for General Electric. Date: Apr 28 1965 Source: Cleveland Press; Cleveland Necrology File, Reel #139. Notes: For many years, before retiring in 1952. Miss Norma O. Nippert was head industrial nurse for the wire division of General Electric here. She was a graduate of Notre Dame Academy in the Cincinnati suburb of Reading and of St. Vincent Charity Hospital School of Nursing here. Miss Nippert died this morning at 72 in the hospital. She lived at 17631 Chagrin Blvd., Shaker Heights, and was a member of St. Dominic Church. Her only immediate survivors are a sister, Mrs. Ruth Harden, and a brother, Edward W. Arrangements are being completed by the Brown-Forward Funeral Home, 17022 Chagrin Blvd., Shaker Hts.
