Eddie Triviz Chavez, husband of Amelia(Mela) Banegas was born in Picacho, New Mexico on November 7, 1912. He was a commercial artist, his colorful work includes murals at La Posta Resturant in Old Mesilla. He said this view of the Rio Grande and Organ mountains reminded him of his childhood home.
