GEORGE BARNES
George Barnes, aged 90 years, who died recently at his home in Mifflin
Township, was a minister of the gospel of the Latter Day Saints for the
past ? years and in addition was a justice of the peace for a number
of years. He was widely known in the Monongahela valley and was highl
respected by all.  Mr. Barnes was born in Northumberland county,
England, in ?, and came to this country in ? since which time he had
resided in Mifflin township. He is survived by five sons, Robert,
Matthew, George and Jackson Barnes, of this city, and by one brother,
William Barnes of Cleveland, O.
