Volume 4, Page 266, Year 1836 Last Will and Testament of Enock Hankins, Decd. I Enock Hankins of Jefferson Township Allegheny County & State of Pensy & Being of sound mind memory & understanding, Make and Publish this my last will & Testament in the following manner. First as to my Worldly Estate I give and bequeath as follows. To my son Ramath I give and bequeath one hundred dollars, to be paid two years after my death. To my son Enoch I give and devise the one half of the money wich was willed to him by his Grandfather Joseph Riggs. Likewise two notes which I hold against him, the amt. not recollected and twenty dollars in money to be paid two years after my death. To my son John I give and devise the one half of the money willed by his Grandfather Joseph Riggs to Enock & John Hankins, & one Hundred Dollars to be paid two years after my death. To my Samuel Hankins son of Rameth Hankins I give & devise one hundred & sixty acres of land lying & being in the State of Illinois. To my daughter Leah Burton I give & devise one hundred dollars to be paid two years after my death. To my daughter Ann I give and devise The farm and all the personal property wich I now possess and whereon I now live provided she does not get married. Also the lot & house on the Mononghala River on the same conditions, Should she get married, the said property shall be given up and in lieu thereof I give & devise to her five hundred dollars, should Ann die or get married then the Real & personal property willed to her to be sold and Equally divided amongst the surviving heirs, Ann to be considered as one of the heirs. To my daughter Jane Allison's three children Enock, James, & Mary Ann, I give and bequeath Five Hundred dollars to be equally divided among them to be paid whenever the Executors can make it convenient to pay the same. My Bank Stock, Turnpike stock and all debts due me by Notes, Bonds, or book accts. not heretofore bequeathed, I wish sold and my debts collected within two years after my death, to pay the legacies above mentioned. It is to be understood that were (where?) the property is to be sold, should my daughter Ann die or get married & then to be divided among the surviving heirs is understood that Jane Allison is to receive a dividend of Ann's property when sold. Also Enock Hankins to receive nothing. And lastly I do hereby appoint appoint and Constitute Rameth Hankins & Henry Beltzhoover to be the Executors of this my last will revoking all others heretofore made.
