Researching William H. Rogers, born 1835 in England, who came to the United States in 1842. He was a machinist and a foreman in the machine shop for the PRR in Philadelphia. He was married to Maria E. Deuhl (or DeWell, Deuel) 26 August 1857. Their children were Ida, born c1859, Jennie, born c1861, Albert, born c1863, William J., born c1866, Clarence, born c1867, and Elmer, born c1870. William J. Rogers was born (or perhaps christened) 10 November 1866 in Philadelphia, married Lydia Jane Lowe 18 January 1893 in Altoona, PA, and died 30 June 1946 in Altoona. Lydia Jane Lowe was born 18 Jan 1873, daughter of Cyrus B. Lowe, and died 1 August 1915, in Altoona. Her father, Cyrus B. Lowe, was born c1827 near Laurel, Sussex County, DE, son of John E. and Mary James Lowe, married Rebecca Jane McConnell 1 January 1853 in Newry, PA, died in a railway accident at Harrisburg on 21 December 1893.
